Who we are

CakeSheet is operated by an independent sole trader based in Bulgaria. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use CakeSheet.

CakeSheet is in open beta

The app is free while we build it, and it is provided as-is. Features may change, move, or be removed. Bugs are likely and we’d be grateful if you reported them. We are not able to offer a guaranteed level of availability during the beta.

Paid plans will arrive eventually. When they do, beta users become founding members with a permanent discount, and you’ll get plenty of notice before anything changes. We won’t take away access to your data or hold it hostage behind a new plan.

Your account

You need an accurate email address to register, and you’re responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must be at least 16 years old, or old enough to enter a contract where you live.

Your content stays yours

Your recipes, prices, photos, customer records, and orders belong to you. We claim no ownership over them. We store and process them only to provide the service — we don’t sell them, mine them for advertising, or use your recipes for any purpose of our own.

You can permanently delete your data at any time from your account settings. If you’d like a copy of it first, email us and we’ll send you one.

Data you hold about other people

If you store your customers’ details in CakeSheet, you remain responsible for that data. You decide what to record and why, you need a lawful basis for holding it, and you are responsible for answering your customers if they ask about it. We process it only on your instructions, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Fair use

Please don’t use CakeSheet to:

• break the law, or store data you have no right to hold;
• attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or try to reach another user’s data;
• upload malicious files, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
• resell or rebrand the service as your own.

We may suspend or close accounts that do these things, usually after warning you first.

No warranty, and limits on liability

CakeSheet helps you work out costs and prices, but the numbers it produces are only as good as the figures you put in. It is a tool, not financial, tax, or legal advice — and it doesn’t tell you whether you comply with your local cottage food or food safety rules. Please check important numbers before you rely on them.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect losses arising from your use of a free beta service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and none of it affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Ending things

You can delete your account whenever you like, from your settings. We may end or suspend the service — or these terms — if we have to, and we’ll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data unless the law prevents it.

Changes, and the law that applies

If we change these terms meaningfully, we’ll update the date at the top and notify account holders by email. These terms are governed by Bulgarian law, and if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
